Visual History with Lynne Littman

Lynne Littman is a director of feature films, movies for television and documentaries. Her features include In the Matter of Kenneth (1973), Once a Daughter (1980) and Testament (1983); her documentaries, Number of Our Days (1976), In Her Own Times (1985), Oscar’s Tribute to Women in Movies (1993), and Testament at 20 (2003); her movies for television, Cagney & Lacey: True Convictions (1996), Rescuers: Stories of Courage: Two Couples (1998), Freak City (1999) and Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years (1999). For her directorial efforts Littman won an Oscar for Best Documentary, Short Subjects for Number Our Days in 1977. Littman served on the DGA’s Western Directors Council from 1984-1991.
