Dianne Bartlow is a 3-time Emmy Award winning producer/writer/director, and has been associated with CBS/KCBS Television, Lifetime, Entertainment Tonight, and the Oprah Winfrey Show. She won Emmys for her video shorts, Bread and Roses Café and Serving from the Heart (Meals on Wheels) in association with the Directors Guild of America Women’s Steering Committee and Santa Monica CityTV. As Co-Executive Producer, she also recently won two Telly Awards for Hope Builders: Making a Difference in the Inland Empire which aired on KVCR. In addition to garnering several Emmy nominations over her career, Barlow was honored by the Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center for outstanding performance, excellence and accomplishments as a distinguished director and leader in entertainment. She is an active member of the Directors Guild of America African-American and Women’s Steering Committees and is currently a selected participant in the prestigious DGA Director Development Initiative. She was also a selected participant in the DGA AASC Learning Tree program. She is a professor in the Gender and Women’s Studies Department at California State University, Northridge, and received her Ph.D. in Communication from the University of California, San Diego.
