Award-winning director and producer Jeremy Alter has directed and produced in a wide range of media including feature films, music videos, commercials, live shows, still campaigns, etc. On his way to producing and directing, he worked with renowned filmmakers such as directors David Lynch, Alexander Payne, David O'Russell, Wim Wenders, Bryan Singer, Adam McKay, Francis Ford Coppola, Gary Oldman, etc. His extensive production experience includes work on over 50 feature films including the Academy Award winning film Sideways, The Fighter, The Nutty Professor, Liar Liar, Bruno, Anchorman, Apt Pupil, 500 Day of Summer, Next Friday, Dracula, and Sky High to name a few.

As an accomplished director, Alter directed and produced the feature film, The Perfect Sleep, which Time Out NY called "witty, self-aware and consistently compelling...a rare pleasure." Gary Oldman called the film "a fantastic, wonderful ride...it's film noir on crack."

Alter has directed numerous award-winning music videos for artists such as Social Distortion, Chris Cornell, Ariana Grande, New Found Glory, Boys Like Girls featuring Taylor Swift and Halestorm. He was awarded an MVPA Award for Best Directorial Debut for his acclaimed Social Distortion video "Machine Gun Blues." His video was also nominated for the MVPA Award for Best Rock Video.

During his nine year tenure as Head of Production / Supervising Producer for Meiert Avis' award winning production company Windmill, he produced almost a hundred music videos for artists including U2, Evanescence, Weezer, Paramore, Bush, Ben Harper, Rise Against, Take That, Jakob Dylan, The Aquabats, The Pretty Reckless and Michael Buble'. He also produced the live shoots of Glee Live at Radio City Music Hall and Yo Gabba Gabba! Live at the Nokia Theatre.

As a feature film producer, Alter produced David Lynch's renowned feature film Inland Empire. Alter's most recently released feature film is the critically acclaimed, award-winning Touched with Fire staring Katie Holmes and executive produced by Spike Lee. The film premiered at SXSW and was theatrically released through Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate Films. His work on the film earned him the prestigious p.g.a. producers mark.

Alter produced the film, Gray House, which is the directorial debut of Austin Lynch, featuring Denis Lavant and Aurora Clément. The film made its world premiere at the prestigious CPH Dox Festival.

His impressive client roster includes working with internationally renowned corporations such as Ray Dalio's Bridgewater Associates, Microsoft, Epson, Nokia, Nike, Allstate to most of the major film studios and music companies in Hollywood including Universal/Interscope, EMI, Polydor, Atlantic Records, Dreamworks, Twentieth Century Fox, Epitaph Records, Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, New Line Cinema, MTV, Relativity Media, CBS, Icon, The Walt Disney Company, Fox Searchlight, Rogue Pictures, Spyglass Entertainment, and The Weinstein Company.

He developed and co-produced the initial conceptual/development phases for a $400 million Chinese project entitled "The Valley of the Emperors." This included the design of a tourist destination complex in Xi'an China to house an epic stage spectacle about the first emperor of China and his terra cotta warriors.

He produced an international multimedia campaign for the acclaimed video game, Summoner's War featuring Dave Franco and Alison Brie. He also produced an award-winning music video which was the directorial debut of notable actress Mädchen Amick.

Alter completed producing the pilot Ramble On which stars Charlie Sheen, Kevin Connolly and Kevin Dillon and was written/directed by Entourage creator Doug Ellin.

He was an advisory board member for the tech startup company, Magic Leap. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
