Abdul also directed, co-wrote & edited the Platinum-selling, long-form music video starring Jay-Z entitled “Streets is Watching”. It earned a #1 slot in Billboard. After moving to Los Angeles and joining the Directors Guild of America (DGA), Abdul continued to direct music videos as well as maintaining a career as an editor and Videographer for TV shows, docs and new media projects.

Embracing his aspirations as a musician, Abdul co-created with his singer/songwriter partner Natalieq, an R&B/Soul music project called B.O.S.S. He produced two commercially available albums for B.O.S.S: “Tricky Kinda Love” and “Liquid Leather” and a solo album under his stage name DJ ABBY AB entitled “Balance Love Power”, which was a album with several featured vocalists on it and a number of instrumental tunes all composed and performed by Abdul.

Recently Mr. Abbott directed & edited the award-winning short film which he also wrote entitled “Curse of War”, and the spin off music video from the film by his band B.O.S.S entitled: “Let it all go”.
