DGA Sets Presenters for 64th Annual DGA Awards

LOS ANGELES – DGA President Taylor Hackford today announced the presenters for the 64th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards.  The ceremony, to be hosted by director/producer/actor Kelsey Grammer, will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles.

The DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film has traditionally been one of the industry’s most accurate barometers for who will win the Best Director Academy Award.

 

Only six times since the DGA Awards began in 1948 has the Feature Film winner not gone on to win the corresponding Academy Award.
