DGA National Executive Director Jay D. Roth today announced the promotion of DGA Eastern Counsel Denise Massingale-Lamb to the position of Assistant Eastern Executive Director. In her new capacity, Ms. Massingale-Lamb will be responsible for the administration and enforcement of the Guild's network staff agreements and the Freelance Live Tape and Television agreement, as well as for the negotiation of DGA contracts with local stations in New York, Boston, Washington, DC, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
Ms. Massingale-Lamb, who begins her duties immediately, has been with the DGA for seven years. She is married and resides in Weston, Connecticut and has been a guest commentator on Court TV covering entertainment and criminal cases.
Alan S. Gordon, DGA's Eastern Executive Director, praised Massingale-Lamb's outstanding performance as eastern counsel, noting her many arbitration victories and her success in championing the collective bargaining and creative rights of the Guild's members.
