Safety Pass Training

Safety Information

If you are an Assistant Director, Unit Production Manager, Associate Director, or Stage Manager, you must complete mandatory safety training courses to remain eligible to work under the Basic Agreement (BA), Freelance Live and Tape Television Agreement (FLTTA), and National Commercial Agreement (NCA).

Each individual shall have 90 days from their initial date of DGA-covered employment to successfully complete these courses. The courses mandatory for work under each of these agreements are as follows:

Verification of Safety Training status may be done at www.dgaca.org/member-directory by entering one's last name under Search criteria.  Safety training status will appear in the search results next to the individual's name.

Any Assistant Director, Unit Production Manager, Associate Director or Stage Manager who fails to successfully complete the mandatory trainings within the training deadlines will be suspended from the relevant Qualification List, Eligible to Work List, or Employment Criteria List, or if not on any of these lists will be deemed ineligible to work until their successful completion.
