SFCC Elects Officers & Executive Committee Members

At their April 2023 meeting, the DGA San Francisco Coordinating Committee (SFCC) members elected 2nd AD Jason Halley to serve as Committee Chair, 1st AD Rachel K. Caproni to serve as Vice Chair and 2nd AD Mike Doto to continue serving as Secretary.

The Committee had also recently elected members to serve on its Executive Committee with Director Amyn Kaderali, 1st ADs Rachel K. Caproni (current Vice Chair) and Bryan Gildner and 2nd ADs Jason Halley (current Chair) and Jerremy Stewart elected to serve until 2025; and UPMs Gerald Olson and Lope Yap, Jr. and 2nd ADs Mike Doto (current Secretary) and John Morse continuing to serve through 2024.

He has been a DGA member since 2008 and was first elected to the SFCC in 2016.

She has been a DGA member since 2007 and was first elected to the SFCC in 2014. 
 
Mike DotoMike Doto - SFCC Secretary
Doto’s resume includes working as an Assistant Director on television series such as Liv and Maddie, Lab Rats, Sullivan & Son, Malibu Country, Dog with a Blog, The Thundermans, Saving Grace and That ‘70s Show. He has been DGA member since 2003 and was first elected to the SFCC in 2017. 
 

About the Committee:

The San Francisco Coordinating Committee was formed in 1978 to coordinate Guild activities in the Bay Area. The Committee hosts a number of educational presentations and networking events during the year, in order to fulfill its objectives of facilitating the exchange of ideas, maintaining contacts with other guilds and unions, and furthering professional opportunities for all Northern California DGA members.
