The Craft of the Director: Chloé Zhao

With some restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic still in place, the DGA Special Projects Committee has found new ways to provide craft-focused programming for our members. On November 18, DGA members had the opportunity to view the Special Projects Committee’s event, The Craft of the Director: Chloé Zhao .

In an in-depth conversation moderated by Director Lily Mariye, Zhao discussed her personal directing process and shared how she approaches various areas of the craft, from pre-production through post.
