As part of the COVID-19 Return to Work Agreement announced in September, the DGA and our sister unions negotiated with producers for a COVID-19 Prevention Training Course – which is mandatory for everyone working under the DGA Basic Agreement (BA) or Freelance Live Tape Television Agreement (FLTTA), and must be taken prior to your first day of employment. Additionally, employees who are on a Qualification List (QL) or roster must complete the training as a requirement for continued placement on the QL or roster. Due to broader access issues, the Guild and producers have agreed to extend the deadline for AD/UPMs and AD/SMs to remain on the QL to Dec. 24 (originally Nov. 27). For AD/UPMs and AD/SMs who haven’t yet completed the training, please see the instructions below on how to take the course via the Contract Services Portal.
For Director members working under the BA and FLTTA, your access to this training must come from your employer. You should complete the training prior to commencing your next job.

If you DO NOT have an online account with Contract Services,
(you completed Safety Pass Training in person) you can access the training as follows:
- Go to the Contract Services Login page at https://portal.csatf.org
- To register a new account, click the Create One Now button.
- Enter your Last Name, Industry Link Number (look up using your SSN) and the last 4 digits of your SSN.
Note: Contract Services will have your personal information on file, including your SSN if you successfully completed the DGA Safety Pass Training.
- Create Username and Password and set up security questions & answers.
- Once you accept the terms, click the Register button.
- Review your contact information, then click Confirm.
- Proceed to COVID-19 Prevention Training.
If you already have an account with Contract Services,
(you completed Safety Pass Training online) you can access the training as follows:
- Go to www.csatf.org
- Select Portal Sign-In.
- Log In.
- Proceed to COVID-19 Prevention Training.
- For your convenience, this course is optimized for delivery on a mobile device or smartphone, as well as a desktop computer.
