In our on-going efforts to provide our members with the most optimal theatrical viewing experience, the DGA is upgrading both audio and projection systems in Los Angeles Theater One beginning in March.
These upgrades will include the installation of the Dolby Vision projection system and the Dolby Atmos system, which is considered the gold standard for state-of-the art screening rooms. We will also be upgrading our 35mm and 70mm feature film projection systems. Additionally, the renovation will include replacing the theater complex’s 30-year-old HVAC system.
These renovations are scheduled to begin in March and finish by September. During this period, all DGA screenings will take place at an alternate venue. Once completed, these improvements will not only better serve our members during DGA screenings and events, but also continue the standard of our theater as a top-of-the-line venue in Los Angeles.

The Harmony Gold Preview House

The Harmony Gold Preview House is a 350-seat screening and event facility approved by Dolby Laboratories and Sony (DTS). Although a public parking garage is located on the premises, space is very limited. We recommend that you park in the DGA Headquarters garage and walk down to Harmony Gold.
