At the June 2019 meeting, the DGA San Francisco Coordinating Committee (SFCC) members elected Director Ted Leonard to serve as Committee Chair. Director Amyn Kaderali was elected to the post of Vice Chair and 2nd AD Mike Doto was re-elected to continue as serving as Secretary. Members of the SFCC Executive Committee were previously elected at the SFCC Annual Membership Meeting in May 2019.
- Newly elected to the Executive Committee at 2019 Annual Membership Meeting and the June SFCC Meeting: Director Jennifer Brown, 2nd AD Mike Doto (Secretary), Director Amyn Kaderali (new Vice Chair) and Director Douglas H. Werby.
- Continuing to Serve through 2020: 1st AD Rachel Caproni, Director Ted Leonard (new Chair) and 2nd AD Jerremy Stewart. 2nd AD Lindsay Moorhead, who was elected to the Executive Committee in 2019, stepped down and 2nd AD Bryan Gildner was elected at the June meeting to fill that post.
Ted Leonard - SFCC Chair
A DGA member since 2012, Leonard rose through the ranks as a PA, DGA Trainee, Assistant Director, Producer and ultimately Director. His directorial credits include the series Blood Relatives, I (Almost) Got Away with It, Wives with Knives and the documentaries Murder Among Friends and Unusual Suspects. As an AD, he also worked on features such as Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine, Tim Burton's Big Eyes, Tate Taylor's Get On Up, and the Netflix hit series 13 Reasons Why. Leonard was first elected to the SFCC in 2016 and previously served as Vice Chair of the Committee.

Amyn Kaderali - SFCC Vice Chair
After getting his bachelor’s degree at UCLA, Kaderali received his MFA in Directing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program. His filmography includes the feature Kissing Cousins and episodes of the series Supernatural, Charmed, Private Practice and Crash Course to Stardom. He also won the 1998 Slamdance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize for Best Dramatic Short for his film, Little Man. A DGA member since 2012, Kaderali was first elected to the SFCC in 2017.

Mike Doto - SFCC Secretary
Doto’s resume includes working as an Assistant Director on television series such as Liv and Maddie, Lab Rats, Sullivan & Son, Malibu Country, Dog with a Blog, The Thundermans, Saving Grace and That ‘70s Show. A DGA member since 2003, Doto was first elected to the SFCC in 2017.

About the Committee:
The San Francisco Coordinating Committee was formed in 1978 to coordinate Guild activities in the Bay Area. The Committee hosts a number of educational presentations and networking events during the year, in order to fulfill its objectives of facilitating the exchange of ideas, maintaining contacts with other guilds and unions, and furthering professional opportunities for all Northern California DGA members.
