July 26, during the Directors Guild-Producer Training Plan’s welcome mixer for its 2018 class, UPM Richard Prince was recognized for his consistent support of the Assistant Director Training Program (ADTP). A graduate of the ADTP class of 1977, Prince has employed 50 trainees since he joined the Guild in 1979.
Prince is the Co-Producer and UPM of the series Brooklyn Nine Nine. He also currently serves as a co-chair of the Western AD/UPM Council’s UPM Committee, is a member of the Education Committee, and has served as an alternate member of the Council.
