DGA Membership Meeting in Washington, DC

As part of the Guild’s ongoing efforts to serve members residing outside Los Angeles and New York, Assistant Executive Director Michael Berger, together with Field Representative Michelle Kuchinsky, recently conducted a DGA membership meeting and dinner in Washington, DC on February 27. The meeting provided an opportunity for these members to network with their peers, meet DGA staff, and hear what the Guild is doing to protect and extend their creative and economic rights.

Approximately 25 members from the DC-metro area were in attendance as Berger reported on the current state of the Guild and its activities, and gave them information about the DGA contracts, the pension and health plans, and the Guild’s commitment to increasing its presence in the field via the DGA Field Reps. Members were also invited to contribute to the discussion during an open forum section where questions were answered and comments welcomed.
