The New York Training Program expanded into the area of commercial production in 2007 and launched a West Coast version in Los Angeles in 2010.
On July 20, new Commercial trainees Don Johnson and Tim Pelletier initiated their training with an orientation at DGA headquarters. On hand to speak with them were 1st AD and former AD/UPM Council West Commercial Committee Chair Lee Blaine, 1st AD and former Commercial Committee Co-Chair Fred Childress, and 1st AD and current Commercial Committee Chair Don Yorkshire, DGA Assistant Executive Director Jean Frost, New York ADTP Program Administrator Sandra Forman and Assistant Administrator Laure Scott.
