Meet the Nominees: Movies for Television and Mini-Series

On February 4, DGA members enjoyed the 2015 edition of the Meet the Nominees: Movies for Television and Mini-Series symposium in the Guild’s Los Angeles Theater complex. Following an introduction by DGA First Vice President Betty Thomas, clips of each nominated film were shown. Then DGA Movies for Television Committee Chair Mike Robe led nominees Rob Ashford and Glenn Weiss (Peter Pan Live!), Lisa Cholodenko (Olive Kitteridge), and Michael Wilson (The Trip to Bountiful) in a  discussion of the making of their films.

The symposium was followed by a reception where DGA members and guests could mingle with the nominees.

Nominees Uli Edel (Houdini) and Ryan Murphy (The Normal Heart) were unable to attend the symposium.
