The genetically engineered dinosaurs wreak havoc again in Director Colin Trevorrow’s new feature Jurassic World.
In Trevorrow’s continuation of the highly popular franchise, the dreams of the original Jurassic Park have been realized with a full-fledged facility that has become a huge moneymaker for its owners. But when profits start to dip, the plan to beef up attendance by unveiling a brand new and improved hybrid dinosaur goes awry when the creature escapes and causes mayhem and panic.
Following the DGA membership screening in Los Angeles on June 13, Trevorrow spoke about the challenges of making the film in a conversation with Director Joseph Kosinski (TRON: Legacy).
In addition to Jurassic World, Trevorrow’s filmography includes the indie feature Safety Not Guaranteed, the movie for television Gary: Under Crisis, the documentary Reality Show and the short film Home Base. He became a member of the DGA in 2014.
