Two-time DGA Award-nominee Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Inglourious Basterds) spoke to audiences about his new action-adventure film Django Unchained. In the film a slave-turned-bounty hunter (Jamie Foxx) sets out on a mission to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio) with the help of his mentor (Christoph Waltz). Tarantino spoke about the film with DGA President Taylor Hackford (Love Ranch) following the Los Angeles DGA screening on December 1, and director Peter Bogdanovich (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Runnin’ Down a Dream) after the New York screening on December 2.
