DGA and Directors UK Screen Director Roger Michell's "Morning Glory"

On November 22, DGA members in the United Kingdom were treated to a special screening of Director Roger Michell’s new comedy Morning Glory. The screening took place at the Soho Hotel Screening Room in London and was a co-presentation of the DGA and the United Kingdom’s organization Directors UK.

In Morning Glory, a young hotshot television producer (Rachel McAdams) tries to revive a struggling morning program, despite the constant feuding of its high-profile anchors (Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton).

Michell’s other features include Venus (2006), Enduring Love (2004), Changing Lanes (2002), Notting Hill (1999), and Persuasion (1995).

After the screening and an introduction by Directors UK CEO Andrew Chowns, Director Iain Softley (Inkheart) engaged Michell in a discussion about the making of the film.
