63rd Annual DGA Awards

2010 DGA Movies for Television and Mini-Series Nominees Mck Jackson (Temple Grandin) and Jeremy Podeswa (The Pacific, "Home") participated in the "Meet the Nominees" symposium held at DGA headquarters in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Following an introduction by DGA President Taylor Hackford, clips of each nominated film were shown and then moderator Mick Garris (The Stand) led the nominees in a brief discussion about the making of their films. The event was also a special celebration of the rich history of this genre as part of the Guild’s 75th Anniversary. Nominees Barry Levinson (You Don’t Know Jack), David Nutter (The Pacific, "Basilone") and Tim Van Patten (The Pacific, "Okinawa") were unable to attend.
