Nominees, celebrity presenters, DGA Members, industry VIPs and guests gathered at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles to celebrate the outstanding directorial achievements of 2009. Well-wishers got in their final congratulations before the envelopes were opened and the winners announced.
