As a unit production manager he worked on such films as The Blue Lagoon (1980), Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991), Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), Dangerous Minds (1995), Con Air (1997), and Lake Placid (1999). Bogart has also directed episodes of the series CBS Playhouse and Lou Grant.
